👉Story: During this summer in Sicily I become sick for a few days, nothing serious, probably a flu. One evening Alby called me if I dont want to join him for a wing session, but I told him I didn’t feel good, but I could come take some pics.

I think if we would have planned for this shot, it would take us ages! He just hoped in the water in front of his house and I was taking few videos with a long lens, then around the sunset I tuned around and saw this huge fire ball nearing the horizon. I yelled to Alby to get upwind so I can allign my 400mm lend into the sun. Luckily, he knew exactly what I was after so there was no need for further explanations 😅

This shot relied mainy on the athlete. It would be mega mega lucky if I would just happen to capture him jumping over the sun like that. Also co sidering, sun that low hangs only about few minutes, he he really had 2-3 tries max. Alby basically has to watch his shadowalligning with me downwind and jump at the exact spot to cover me. Easy said, hard to do 😅 I could not believe my eyes when I saw the shot after the jump 🥰

Morale of this story 👉 sometimes go out and force yourself to be creative or productive, even if you don’t feel like it 🙃 If I would thrned Alby down that day (I was super close to do it) I would probably just watch another show on Netflix and feel even worse 🤣
