WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE WORK
AMUNÌ Media grew out of KOBULSKY MEDIA, an international production company working across Europe and the Middle East. What first brought us to western Sicily was the kiting. What kept us coming back was everything else.
The work here started as a passion project, filming watersports around the Stagnone lagoon. Over a few seasons it turned into something else. Hotels asked. Then wineries, restaurants, boat charters, event organisers. Now we work across most of western Sicily, and with brands who come here to shoot and want people who already know the ground.
We're a small team and we intend to stay that way. It means the person you speak to first is the person holding the camera and the person cutting your film. It also means we take on fewer projects than we could, which is deliberate rather than modest.
AMUNÌ
The Sicilian expression "amunì" (pronounced “ah-moo-nee”) has a similar meaning to the Italian word “andiamo,” which translates to “let’s go” and is commonly used to encourage someone to hurry or make a decision.
This word reflects Sicily’s rich cultural history and unique dialect, shaped by its strategic location. Common in local conversations, it embodies the region’s distinctive charm.

FAQ
What does a video production cost in Sicily?
Our rates are €400 per shooting day and €300 per editing day. Most projects combine the two, so a short brand film might run to two shooting days and two days in the edit. Send us the brief and you'll have a written quote back within a day.
Do you work in English?
Yes. We work in English and Italian, and handle the communication with local locations, suppliers and crew on your behalf. For most foreign productions that's the main reason they call us rather than booking directly.
Is the equipment included in the price?
Yes. Most locations in western Sicily need permission to fly, and restrictions apply near airports, ports and protected areas like the Stagnone reserve. We deal with the applications as part of pre-production.
Can you fly a drone legally in Sicily?
Yes. We're ENAC-certified and have been flying for years, in Sicily and on jobs abroad. We know the local rules and where the restricted zones are, including the Stagnone reserve, so aerial shots get planned into the shoot day like any other setup. FPV available on request.
Do you work outside western Sicily?
Yes. We shoot across Sicily and travel for the right project. For work outside Italy, our international arm KOBULSKY MEDIA covers it.
INTERNATIONAL WORK
KOBULSKY
MEDIA
KOBULSKY MEDIA is the international side of the same operation. Watersports, hospitality, real estate and documentary work, shot across Europe and further out. If your project sits outside Sicily, that's who picks it up.
It's also the registered company, so KOBULSKY MEDIA, s.r.o. is the name on your contract and invoice. Same people either way.
